SPEAK UP- SPEECH CONTEST-PRELIMS
Participants must submit a 1-minute original video speech.
Top 10 finalists will be selected and may be invited to present live at BLAZE.
All participants will receive certificates. Awards will be given to outstanding speakers.

Video must be recorded specifically for this contest

Maximum 60 seconds (longer videos may be disqualified)
Speak clearly to the camera (minimal cue cards allowed)
Record in landscape mode with clear audio and lighting
No heavy editing, music, or special effects

Selection & Judging
All videos will be reviewed by a judging panel.
Top 10 finalists will be selected across categories.

Theme:
My Planet, My Vision
A creative expression of how you see, feel, and care for our Earth.
Duration: 50 minutes
• Briefing & seating: 5 minutes
• Artwork creation: 45 minutes
Materials:
• Drawing sheet will be provided
• Participants may bring their own art materials
(crayons, color pencils, oil pastels, watercolors, pencils, etc.)

(Categories may be divided based on age once we get the registration)
Rules
1. Artwork must be completed within 50 minutes
2. Artwork should clearly relate to the Earth Day theme
3. No pre-drawn outlines or reference images
4. Participant’s name & age to be written on the back of the artwork

Pi Digit Recitation Contest
A challenge of memory, focus, and mental strength.
Participants will recite as many digits of Pi (3.14159265…) as possible from memory. The participant who correctly recites the highest number of consecutive digits wins.
Eligibility
• Open to all ages
• No age limit
• Individual participation only
Contest Format
• Participants will recite digits of Pi orally
• Recitation must begin with 3.14159…
• No time limit unless organizers choose to set one (recommended: 3 minutes)
• Judges will stop the participant at the first incorrect digit
The final score will be based on the number of correct consecutive digits recited.
Rules
Recitation must be completely from memory.
No written notes, cue cards, electronic devices, or prompts allowed.
Participants must clearly and audibly recite each digit.
Once a digit is stated, it cannot be corrected.
Only consecutive correct digits count.
In case of a tie, a tie-breaker round may be conducted.
