So grab your paintbrushes, your glue guns, your colored pencils, and your glitter, and let's get crafting! From vibrant African textiles to delicate Chinese paper cutouts, the possibilities are endless. 

Let's celebrate the rich cultural traditions and unique perspectives that make our world so wonderfully diverse and remember, no matter how different our backgrounds may be, we're all united by our love for art and our appreciation for diversity. 

So let's raise our paint-stained hands and toast to Colors Diversity Day - the day when we come together to create a world that's as beautiful and diverse as the art we create!

Contest Details

"One World, Many Colors, Celebrating Diversity"

Eligibility: The contest is open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Participants may be from any location, as long as they can submit their entries in person to the designated drop-off location.

Theme: The theme of the contest is "One World, Many Colors, Celebrating Diversity". Posters should reflect the importance of diversity, inclusion, and acceptance in our society, and celebrate the many different cultures and backgrounds that make up our communities.

Submission Guidelines: Posters should be created on a poster paper,  with a maximum size of 11x17 inches. Participants may use any materials or techniques to create their posters, as long as they are appropriate and relevant to the theme.

Deadline: The deadline for submissions is May 7th, 2023.  Entries should be dropped off in person between April 30th and May 7th, 2023 at 

1. West Windsor Location - 34, Park Hill Terrace, West Windsor Township, NJ 08550

2. Plainsboro Location - 19, Groendyke Ln, Plainsboro, NJ 08536.  

There will be a drop off box kept outside the front door(if it is not a rainy day) marked "World Diversity Day".  The Poster should have the name and age at the back of the poster.

Judging Criteria: Posters will be judged based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall impact. Judges will also consider the quality of the artwork, the effectiveness of the messaging, and the originality of the concept.

Creativity and presentation - 50%

Originality and resource utilization - 30%

Relevance to the theme - 20%

Prizes: Prizes will be announced  and awarded to the top three entries on the day of the event.

Rights to Entries: By submitting their entries, participants grant the contest organizers the right to use and display their posters during the day of the event and  in any promotional materials related to the contest, including on social media, websites, and in print.

Disqualification: Entries will be disqualified if they contain inappropriate content, including hate speech, profanity, or discriminatory language. Entries that do not meet the submission guidelines, including size and format requirements, will also be disqualified.

Notification of Winners: Winners will be announced and awarded on the day of the event.

Other Considerations: Participants may submit only one entry. The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that violates the rules and regulations or does not comply with the theme of the contest. The judges' decision is final and cannot be appealed.
